Also utilized as a security guard helmet in “Saga of a Star World,” this helmet is most notably seen in the episode “The Lost Warrior,” worn by Starbuck to pilot the experimental craft, Starchaser.
This recreation is comprised of an accurate vintage helmet with a resin casting of a vintage metal badge nearly identical to the screen used piece. The central circular medallion was very likely added by the production team to disguise the badge and this recreation utilizes a similar style.
If you look closely, you will see that the original helmet used tape to cover the front helmet holes prior to painting.
