This recreation of Galactica’s unsung heroes is comprised of an accurate vintage construction safety helmet with a small Blue Squadron glove patch applied to the front badge plate.
Interesting that the front crest of this Colonial helmet is remarkably similar to that of mankind’s robotic enemy, the Cylon Centurion.
The black band used in most scenes was a optional component for attaching a set of clear safety goggles with elastic straps.
